Good morning to you all. I'm happy to offer a Mini Creative Retreat on Friday October 27, 2017. We will create a Mini Gratitude Album. Photos of the cover and some of the inside pages are below. Here are all the details:

This is an opportunity to record your moments of gratitude, and thankfulness in a mini album. You can also add photos to the pages if you would like. You will receive a colorful box of 100-journaling cards to write your moments of gratitude as well as some computer printed Scripture Verses, an Accessory Pack that includes an exclusive stamp set-which you can use for future projects,wahsi tape,alphabet stickers,sticker sheets a 4”x6” mini album which has page protectors that alternate between 4”x6” pages on one side and two-3”x4”. You will have use of my punches, ribbons and inks. Please bring a paper trimmer, scissors, photos if you would like and adhesive. The supplies are listed on the next page as well as below:

The cost is $25.00 . This Mini Creative Retreat-Summer Memories Mini Album will be held on Friday October 27,2017 at My Crafting Studio Please note: you will have a great start to this album and you most likely will not finish at the Mini Creative Retreat. This will be something you can also work on and add more journaling cards as you find more things to be thankful for.

Sharing A Card No One Likes To Send

Today I'm sharing a card that no one likes to send-a sympathy card. My brother-in-law (my late husband's brother) passed away last week. All within 6 months. Very hard on the family. I turned to crafting as a source of comfort.
This card was based on an idea I found from a blog, the link is below:

The background is simply stamping with ink on a clear block onto the card base. The other elements-tree branch and sentiment are stamped with black ink.

Last weekend I discovered someone that actually wrote a book called "The Creative Retreat" her name is Jennie Moraitis and she lives in Oregon. Since her book is written about exactly what I offer, I purchased her book and she even signed it :). Mom or Grandma or Aunt and Me Event-this is an opportunity to spend some focused      time with your child/children, grandchild, niece or nephew.  We will focus on a Valentine’s Day card/treat bag combination-please note-patterned paper may vary:

This Event will be held on Friday January 13, 2017 6:30 PM-8:30 PM the cost is $20.00/pair-you will each create 8 Valentine’s Day cards/treat bag combination for a total of 16.  Each additional child is $10.00-for a total of 8.  If you wish to create enough for your child’s classroom-please let me know so that I have enough supplies there for you-the cost for each Valentine’s Day cards/treat bag combination is $1.25/each.
