Sharing Cards Today-"Congratulations On The Birth Of Your Twins"

Welcome to the weekend.  I was recently asked while set up at my local Farmers Market if I had any cards for twins.  At the time, I did not have any in my inventory of many cards.  So this presented me with a challenge-come up with a design.  Since I do not have a stamp set specific to twins I decided to use my computer for a sentiment.  I wanted to share my results:

Marvelous Monday #6

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 6th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Two very special friends were over this past Friday evening to create some cards. It's fun to be able to have a chance to visit and also  have some crafting time together. We thought it would be nice to have a variety of cards on hand. With today being "Marvelous Monday" I thought I would share them with you.  We were able to cover most occasions, Baby Girl, Baby Boy, Masculine Card, Feminine Card, Wedding Card, and a card For Anyone:

Today's Scripture reading-"Cast your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you" Psalm 52:22.

Marvelous Monday #5

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 5th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
This past weekend was my niece's graduation party.  We wanted to have a unique party favor for her.  My sister and I brainstormed a little and thought of using the Hershey Hugs. We put pastel shreddie in clear acetate boxes and added five Hershey Hugs.  Using my computer I typed up the words "Thank you for coming to my party. Hugs from Ashley", I also added a photo of of a Hershey Hug. Here are the photos of the end result.

We also found an idea online using Mentos candies,we wrapped them in white card stock and then tied with a bow.  Here is a photo of how those turned out:

Scripture reading for today:

"Whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men." Colossians 3:23.

Marvelous Monday #4

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 4th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Wedding season is upon us, and giving the newlywed couple a handmade card adds a special touch to the many cards they will receive.  In the card below, embossing folders were used to add texture, the card is simple yet elegant all at the same time;

The next wedding card features some beautiful patterned paper with silver accents;

Today I would like share a Scripture reading from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."  Our circumstances can be overwhelming, my prayer for you is that you can give your circumstances to the Lord and pray continually.

Marvelous Monday #3

Since Father's Day is drawing near, I thought I would share some Father's Day Cards.  Sometimes it can be hard to find patterned paper with a masculine theme.  This patterned paper fits the bill perfectly.

A little something to tuck in your card is this bookmark with the following Bible Verse:

"For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6

This bookmark could also be tucked into a graduation card.
