Mavelous Monday #2

Today is a second in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday". Is that even possible?  Perhaps in a small way I can help. Feel free to give me your thoughts.  I apologize this is a little late, for a Monday, since today was Memorial Day, I was busy with family.  Perhaps you will be reading this on Tuesday.
I appreciate your insight and that you are still with me here at Joyful Heart Creations And Designs. As always, I'm available to help with your crafting projects. Have a "Marvelous Monday".
Today I would like to share some gift bags using white bags as the canvas, I decorated them with patterned paper, and added a little ribbon.  Also, included is a matching card.  

 One other thing I like offer to help make it a "Marvelous Monday" is some Scripture verses that focus on God's love for us:
 John 3:16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Is It Possible To Have A "Marvelous Monday"?

Hello,
Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  I thought I would start a series of blog posts on Mondays to perhaps help make Mondays a little happier by sharing crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
To start out, I thought I would share some graduation cards I created over the weekend.  I used bits and bobbles that I had on hand. Using black as the base of the card, any color I used help make the color pop.  The saying "Black Goes With Everything" certainly holds true with these cards.


Another way to have a "Marvelous Monday" is to read from Scripture.  God loves us more than we can comprehend.  We are told this in His Word the Bible:

Ephesians 3:14-21 14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom every family[a]in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

Mother's Day Cards

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers, grandmothers.  Mother can take on many forms-perhaps you are a mother to your pet, a mother to your neighbors.  Mothers Day can also bring some sadness, if you have lost your mother or lost a child.  My thoughts and prayers are with you as well.
I thought I would share several Mother's Day cards that I created for a friend to give to her daughters and daughters-in-law.   In these cards, I let the patterned paper take "center stage" since I thought it was so pretty.  I added the Happy Mother's Day sentiment with a couple of punches and added to the card.
