Marvelous Monday #72

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 72nd in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Today, I'm sharing the 5th and final card from the Looking Up card kit.  Hopefully, you have enjoyed seeing the cards from this kit.  The palm trees on the card and on the envelope along with the sentiment "I'm so very thankful for you" can offer the recipient a thoughtful way of showing how important they are to you.

Marvelous Moday #71

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 71st in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Today I'm sharing the 4th card from the Looking Up card kit.  This card has some colorful hot air balloons.
Can you think of someone that would enjoy this card?

The envelopes are a nice added touch.  It gives the recipient a little hint of what might be inside.

Today, I'm sharing another card from the Looking Up card kit.  The cards in this kit have such fun, unique backgrounds.  Hopefully, you are enjoying seeing these cards each week.

In the kit, there is a die-cut to add dimension to the card.  I stamped the sentiment "I Hear Congratulations Are In Order" this is the finished card:

Marvelous Monday #69

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 69th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.

Today, I would like to share another card from this kit.
The card base for the card I will sharing today looks like this:

After I stamped the sentiment, Feel Better Soon and added a copper foil sticker, this the finished card:

One thing that I really like about this card kit is that it includes envelopes with white space to write the name and address of the recipient.

Marvelous Monday #68

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 68th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings. 
Today is Labor Day here in the United States. This is recognized as a public holiday in honor of working people.  I'm having lunch with my three daughters today since we all have the day off from our jobs. It will be nice to visit with them.
Last week I mentioned I would be sharing some cards from a card kit called Looking Up. This kit includes enough supplies to create 15 cards, 3 each of 5 designs.  It comes packed like this:

Each card base has unique backgrounds, here is an example of one of the backgrounds:

After I stamped the sentiment Thanks So Very Much and added a copper foiled sticker, this is the finished card:
