Marvelous Monday #54

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 54th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture Readings. 
Today is Memorial Day a day set aside here in the United States for remembering and honoring persons who have died serving the United States Armed Forces. I want to take a moment to honor our fallen heroes while serving.
My daughter's good friends recently got engaged, so she asked me to create a card for them. She requested that the card have gold in it.  I thought I would give her a few options. Since I did not have a stamp set that says, "You're Engaged!" I created one on the computer and printed in on white card stock.  I then punched out the sentiment with several punches. The card base has a beautiful gold frame around it. She liked the result, and I hope you do too:

Today I would like to share some mini 3"x3" cards in some soft, subtle colors. This is such a fun size to write a quick note to someone. Although they are too small to mail, you can always put them in a larger envelope.

Marvelous Monday #51

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 51st in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday."  Perhaps in a small way, I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings. 
On Sunday, May 5, 2019, here in the United States, we celebrate Mother's Day. A day set aside to honor mothers. The word mother can take on many meanings-a mom to your pets, a step-mom, perhaps you do not have any children of your own, but you are a mom to your friend's children. 
 I want to acknowledge for some of you reading my blog, Mother's Day may bring some sadness to you if your mother is no longer here, or if you have lost a child.  My heart goes out to you.
The projects I'm sharing today are an excellent way to celebrate Mother's Day.  To see the photos in more depth, simply double click the photo:
