Marvelous Monday #33

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 33rd in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Today is New Year's  Eve. I want to take this time to say Happy New Year to you and your family. May God pour out His blessing to you in 2019.
I'm excited to share a series of cards from a newly released card kit called "Made To Bloom".  The kit contains everything you need to create 12 cards 4 each of 3 designs. Today I will share the "Thank You So Much!" card.  Perhaps you are in need of some Thank You cards for the many gifts you received from the Christmas Season. I think this cards is so beautiful.  Hope you think so as well:

Be sure to check back next week for another card from this kit.
Today's Scripture:
"Come to me, all you who are weary and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

May you have a "Marvelous Monday".

Marvelous Monday #32 & Merry Christmas!

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 32nd in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
Today is Christmas Eve. I want to take this time to say Merry Christmas to you and your family. May you find joy in this Holiday season.

My project today is to help with your gift giving. It has been said many times your gift has so much to do with the packaging. This is a simple way to take an ordinary gift bag and turn it into a unique one of kind gift bag.  Simply attach a piece of patterned paper and attach to the gift bag, stamp a sentiment or add a sticker, tie some ribbon on the handle and you are good to go.  I'm sharing two examples today:

Today's Scripture:
"While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.  She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them."  Luke 2:6-7
May you have a "Marvelous Monday" and a very Merry Christmas.

Marvelous Monday #31

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 31st in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
I would like to continue with Christmas ideas. Today I'm sharing a quick, fun little gift to give as a stocking stuffer, coworkers, family and friends.  I wrapped Hershey chocolate nuggets with Christmas patterned paper. Simply cut Christmas patterned paper to 1"x3" and wrap around the Hershey nugget and tape to the back of the nugget. I then put 5 of them in a small cellophane bag.  The "For You" was stamped on white card stock.  I also punched a scallop circle and attached to the cellophane bag. Here is my result:

Today's Scripture:
"But you, Lord, do not be far from me.  You are my strength; come quickly to me."
Psalm 22:19

May you have a "Marvelous Monday".

Marvelous Monday #30

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 30th in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
I would like to continue with Christmas ideas. Today I'm sharing some quick, yet beautiful Christmas cards:

Today's Scripture:
"Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed" Isaiah 54:10

May you have a "Marvelous Monday"

Marvelous Monday #29

Welcome to Monday.  It can be tough getting back into the swing of the things after the weekend.  This is the 29th  in a series of blog posts called "Marvelous Monday".  Perhaps in a small way I can help make Monday's a little happier by sharing some crafting projects and also share some Scripture readings.
As I had mentioned in previous blog posts, I would be sharing Christmas ideas.  Today, I would like to share a small Christmas gift that would last all year long. This is a magnetic calendar that can be put on any magnetic surface. I hope you like my result:

Today's Scripture reading:
"In this world you will have trouble. But take heart, I have overcome the world."  John 16:33.

May you have a "Marvelous Monday".
