Terrific Tuesday #67-What To Write In A Card-Note To A College Student

~Terrific Tuesday #67~
I have two nieces going off to college soon, and I'm preparing for each of them a small "care package."
In each of the care packages, I have included wash clothes in their favorite colors, hair binders, lotions, and hand soaps. I thought there may be times when they want to send a card to family and friends, so I will also add some handmade greeting cards with postage stamps. That way, they won't have to be running to the post office.
Perhaps you may be preparing care packages as well for college bond students. I thought I would include some ideas as to what to say in a card with your care package:

~May this little care package be a reminder that you are loved and cared for.
~Study hard, get lots of rest, find time to have a healthy dose of fun.
~Including Scripture verses can bring the college student comfort as well:
  •  "The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26  (NIV)
  • "Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans." Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)
  • "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Phillippians 4:7 (NIV)
If you need some handmade greeting cards, I offer a variety to choose from in my Joyful Heart Gift Shop.

Today's Scripture reading-I'm including one of the verses that I mentioned for a college student because it applies to each one of us:

"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn His face toward you and give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26 (NIV)

May you have a Terrific Tuesday and a blessed week.

Patty
