Hello, and welcome to a new week. Someone in a nursing home may have no visitors, and sending a card could brighten their day. A solution would be to contact a nearby nursing home and tell them you are interested in sending a message to a resident who needs a note of cheer. Here are a few suggestions as to what to write inside your card:
- Start with a brief introduction about yourself and something you have done recently.
- Include a Scripture verse or poem.
- If you feel comfortable, send a photo of yourself, so they can see who is writing to them.
- Let them know you will send a note again soon.
