The weather here in Minnesota has been mild for this time of year. As I type this, we do not have any snow, which is unusual. Generally, we have snow cover in December. The pond is in the center of the loop I walk, which is about 2.5 miles. It was so peaceful and serene.

Terrific Tuesday #34-Product Of The Month

Each month I like to feature a product from Stampin Up that I use in creating my projects.

This month I'm featuring a card kit called Gorgeous Posies; this kit includes all the elements to create 16 cards, 4 each of 4 designs; the only two things needed are a stamp set and ink. Terrific Tuesday #33-My Creating Process

~Hello and welcome to Terrific Tuesday #33~

When I create projects, I always like to seek products from Stampin Up because of the quality and color coordination. This year, they offered a Christmas Countdown Project Kit that included all the elements to create an 11"x11" sized box that houses 25 mini boxes to be decorated. I decided to decorate one for each of my three adult daughters. It was fun to come up with ideas to put inside the mini boxes. Some of the things I put in the boxes were-Bible verses, quotes, candy, toothbrush holders, and mini-post-it notes. I gave them right before December 1st so they could open a box each day until December 25th. So far, they are really enjoying opening the boxes. Here is a photo of the three of the completed boxes:

Terrific Tuesday #29-My Creating Process

On November 14, 2020,  I was a vendor at the Farmers Market this past Saturday, selling my handmade cards and small gifts. We used caution by wearing masks, using hand sanitizer, and maintaining 6 ft social distance because of the pandemic. This was my first time setting up since January; it was nice to be back.

Terrific Tuesday #26-My Creating Process

Hi, there-welcome to Terrific Tuesday #26.

Each month I like to share my creating process. 

Recently I received some scrapbook paper scraps leftover from a project a friend was working on.

She said I was free to do whatever I would like with them. So, I cut them up and created mini cards. My plan is to sell them at boutique shop.  Here is a sample of some of the mini cards.

In another creative process, my three daughters came over last weekend for our third annual October Fest. We gather for dinner which includes chili, cornbread, salad, and apple crisp. During our time together, we decorated mini pumpkins with sharpie markers. I enjoyed seeing how they each took their own spin on decorating their pumpkins. I would like to share a photo of our completed pumpkins.

Terrific Tuesday #25-Product Of The Month

My product of the month is the gold cards and envelopes from Stampin Up.  These adorable

vanilla cards have a gold foil on the edges, perfect for adding a stamped image or a note.

I spent some time using these cards and just absolutely loved working with them.  The photo on the right is the result of using gold cards and envelopes.

My Creating Process Of The Month

When I create my handmade cards, I like to have a variety of sizes available. The folded card size I'm sharing today is 4 1/4" x 3 1/4".

• Using a 3"x4" patterned card, I stamped my sentiment.
• To add depth and dimension to the stamped 3"x4" patterned card I place foam dots on the back.
• This piece is placed on the 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" card base.
• Inside I stamped a flower image to add a little extra for the recipient.
• The inside is left blank to add a personalized message.

When I create handmade cards I use products from Stampin Up. Each year they introduce five new what are called In Colors. These colors are good for two years. I always enjoy the creative names they use for each color. This year we have the following colors:
